Chain Conveyors:

Product Description:

• The chain conveyors are equipped with forged and surface-hardened fork link chains in single or two-strand designs to reach an optimum tensile strength. The sprockets are strengthened in the zones subject to wear. The flights are designed in such a way that they correspond to the bulk material characteristics and the conveying geometry — horizontally, inclined to ensure an optimum transport.
• Generally, Chain conveyor is used widely in the conveying of bulk materials such as cement and fertilizer in chemical industries, and grain in food industries. Because it is enclosed, dust from the conveyed materials is contained, and will not pollute the surrounding area
• Chain conveyor is not usually used to move sticky, dusty, or low-density products.

Working Principle:

• The material fed into the conveyors from the top, falls through the moving chain to the bottom of the trough. There, it is conveyed by the flights along the trough bottom.

Types:

• En-masse Type Chain Conveyor – Principle: The En-masse principle of conveying is both unique and highly efficient. Its success depends up on ability of material particles to interlock with each other. This ability is known as material surcharge angle. Coal and lime stone have a surcharge angle of 20° while fly ash has a surcharge angle of 2° to 8°. Slat height is 1/3^rd of the material bed height
• Drag Type Chain Conveyor – Principle: If the interlocking ability of the material particles is less then formation of surge or heap is not possible. In that case the material will not move as en-masse, and total heap of material will not move along with the chain. Hence to achieve the flow and total movement of the material slat height should be selected same as that of material depth.

RAVs:

Product Description:

• RAVs are used to minimize system air losses while transferring materials between vessels with differential pressures or as a volumetric feeder for metering materials at specified flow rates.

Screw Conveyors:

Product Description:

• Screw Conveyors are bulk material transporting devices capable of handling a great variety of materials (sluggish to free-flowing). Screw conveyors/feeders used as a metering device to initiate a material process by metering product from bin or hopper.

Chain Conveyors:

• Available in Stainless steel, Heat resistant steel, mild steel and other materials of construction.
• The casings are built with Heavy duty / gauge steel plates for providing structural rigidity and long service.
• The Drop Forged Pin & Fork type chain is made from various special alloys and hardened for extended life and minimizing wear .
• The flights / materials are selected to suite specific requirements of application and are generally bolt-on type for ease of replacement.
• Catenary take ups are provided to accommodate thermal expansion of chain in high temperature applications.
• The bottom and top chain guides are provided with easily replaceable sail hard (or) Hardox liners

RAVs:

• Available in Cast Iron, Stainless steel, Aluminium, Heat Resistant Steel and other materials of construction
• Generally use to accomplish three basic tasks, to feed material from bin or hopper, to deliver fines from a collector while sealing against air loss and feed material in to a pneumatic conveying system against pressure.
• Rotary Stop valve is a dust – tight rapid acting valve designed for free flowing powdery bulk materials such as cement, clay, limestone. plastic pellets, coal, grain, fly ash, clinker etc.

Screw Conveyors:

• Available in Stainless steel, Heat resistant steel , mild steel and other materials of construction.
• Screw Conveyor consists of a tube or U-shaped stationary trough, through which a shaft mounted helix revolves to push loose material forward in a horizontal or inclined direction.
• Screw conveyors can be used to cool the material in transit. Depending on the heat transfer requirements, a screw conveyor can be jacketed or hollow flight design utilized to provide the necessary heat transfer for the application.
• Screw Conveyors can be designed to be vapour-tight or hold internal pressure. This is very important when conveying toxic or hazardous products such as those in the chemical industry.
• Screw Conveyors can be used for mixing various products together and for breaking up large lumps.
